This week we will be making a list of the top 3 luxury cars on the market today. We will go over some of the nice luxury features of each car and go over the pros and cons of each. so get comfortable and buckle up!

If you are looking for the absolute best luxury car on the market, look no further than the all new Rolls Royce Phantom. Rolls Royce has lead the luxury car segment for decades. Rolls Royce is known for high quality, amazing comfort, smooth quiet driving, and high price tags and the Phantom meets and exceeds all of those parameters. Prices start just under half a million dollars but options can take that price up quickly. Some options include self opening and closing doors, and a champaign fridge in the back seat. if you have tons of money to spend you need the phantom.

Next up is the new Bentley Mulsanne. Bentley has always been known to produce very good luxury and high performance cars. The Mulsanne is the top of the line Bentley in the luxury segment and its easy to see why. Its interior quality is very high and so is its performance. Its 600 horsepower v8 gets it up to 60 miles per hour in under 5 seconds which is insane because it weighs just over three tons! if you want a good mix of luxury and performance the Mulsanne is the car for you, and it starts off at just over 300k making it a lot cheaper than the previously mentioned Rolls Royce Phantom

Lastly we have the Mercedes Benz Maybach S 560. Ever since Mercedes Benz took over the Maybach brand back in the early 2000s, sales numbers have been slowly rising and its easy to see why. some people don’t want to draw tons of attention in their Rolls Royce, instead they just want to be driven around in peace. The Maybach is the perfect mix of practicality and ultimate luxury. there are tons of safety features like lane keep assist and automatic cruise control that make this car a breeze to drive. With a stating price of under 170k you can buy a small fleet of Maybachs for the price of one Rolls royce, and you wont be disappointed at all.

This week we are going to look into some very cool and expensive German sports cars. these are some best performing cars on the market today. From their styling features to the extremely precise handling these cars are nothing to mess with. So buckle up and hold on for this ride!

Starting our list is the Audi R8 V10 plus. The R8 came out back in 2006 and it was Audis first try at the exotic performance car segment, and it was a great car it even out preformed its Ferrari competitor at the time. Since then the R8 has been at the leading edge of the german sports car and the new 2020 model is no exception. The New R8 has recently undergone a facelift giving it a more angular look than previous model years. The R8 comes with an optional V10 engine which sounds absolutely amazing when it comes screaming by you on the race track. It makes 611 horsepower and it is said to be one of the best handling cars in its class.

Next up we have the Porsche 911 Gt3 RS. Porsche is no stranger to the performance car segment. they have been making racing versions of their 911 sports car for decades and they have always been at the leading edge in racing technology and the 2019 Gt3 RS is no exception. The Gt3 RS is Porsches best performing version of the popular 911. If you are looking for a comfortable ride and lots of comfort features, this isn’t the car for you. This car doesn’t even come with power seats or a radio even at the $190,000 starting price. this car is all about performance and handling and it does both of those things very well.

Last we have the Mercedes Benz AMG GTR. The GTR is the top of the line in modern Mercedes Benz performance. With well over 600 horsepower and over 600 ft pounds of torque all going to the rear wheels this car is a handful to drive. The GTR has simple styling characteristics which means people wont be always looking at you when you are trying to peacefully drive around town. It starts at just over $150,000 which may seem like a lot but you get tons of performance for this price point.

Today we will be going over the top three seling vehicles (US market) from last year. It will be very interesting to see the best selling cars of 2018, there might be a few you dont expect. so buckle up and lets go for a ride!

What is more American than driving around town in your big ole Ford pickup. over 900,000 Americans bought brand new Ford F-150 pickups just last year making it the top selling vehicle for 2018. Americans just cant get enough of the pickup truck craze. todays pickups are very stylish and even luxurious. top trim level f-150s can massage you while your in the drivers seat. fords eco boost engines even make driving around town more practical because they are more fuel efficient then larger engines what have the same amount of power.

We Americans rally do love our big ole pickup trucks. the second best selling vehicle last year was the chevy Silvaroado pickups. Chevy sold just over half a million of these trucks last year. companies like Ford and Chevy have been leading pickup truck sellers in the US for decades and I’m sure their popularity wont die anytime soon.

Heres an exciting one….. Toyota Rav. its really no surprise that this compact crossover is on this list. crossovers are becoming the craze these days and Toyota is a well known company for its build quality and reliability. put those two together and over 400 thousand people will buy a Rav 4. its a pretty practical car with great fuel econemy and plenty of cargo area it is really a good car.

Electric cars have been around for a very long time, in fact some of the first ever automobiles in the early 1900s were powered by electric drive trains. Todays electric cars are much different than the electric cars of the early 1900s. They have plenty of options and features and some have over 300 miles of range which is very impressive! So today I will share my opinions about the 3 best new electric cars.

Staring the list is the Chevy Bolt EV. The Chevy bolt is different than the more popular volt. It is much smaller and the Bolt is all electric with no gas engine. The lacks good styling but it is pretty practical because it has 4 doors and it is a hatchback so it has about the same amount of cargo areas as its competitors that are much bigger. the bolt starts at just under $40,000 which is a great deal. it is one of the cheapest new electric vehicles for sale today. If your looking to go green on a budget you should really consider the bolt.

When you think electric car what is the first thing that comes to mind? it is probably some type of tesla because Tesla really started the electric car craze back in the mid 2000s with the Tesla roadster and the tesla model S. The Tesla model 3 pictured above is the newest creation of Elon musk and his infamous brand Tesla. The model 3 offers up to 310 miles of range which is very impressive. a little bit less impressive is the build quality and the quality of the materials used to make the interior of the model 3. owners complain about creaking and rattling of interior panels which is not something you should expect if you are going to spend upwards of $50k for the long range version. All in all it is an ok car for the price and if you want the tesla name for pretty cheap then the Model 3 is the way to go.

Next on the list we have something more luxurious and sleek looking. Its the fully electric Jaguar I pace crossover. If you want a luxury car but also want to go green the I pace is pretty much your only option, and a good one at that. prices start just under $70k but quickly go up from there because there are tons of options. some are priced just over $100,000 which is kind of crazy for an electric car, but you do get what you pay for. the HSE trim I pace has almost 300 miles of range and can get all of its 4500 pound self up to 60 miles per hour in just 4 seconds. If you want luxury out of an electric vehicle you need the I pace.

Sports cars, they are meant to be fun and somewhat reliable. They don’t necessarily need to have tons of power but the should be fun to drive and they should handle well. Here is a list of my top 3 picks for the best used fun sports cars for $15,000 or less.

at the top of our list we have the Toyota 86 or the Subaru BRZ (they are both made on the same assembly line and look exactly the same the only differences are either the Toyota or the Subaru badging). Starting at the front the 86 has cool styling which continues thought the car, unfortunately it is kind of a sheep in wolves clothing. it has a 2.0 liter Subaru boxer engine in it which puts out just 200 horsepower to the rear wheels. while it may not be fast it is fun, the handling is very good and you will find most with a six speed manual transmission which makes it an absolute blast to drive up and down windy roads.

next up we have any 1990s (Mx-5) Mazda Miata. The Miata was one of the first real affordable sports cars offered by an Asian car manufacturer. the first year for the Miata was 1989 which was quite a while ago. it came with a 1.6 liter four cylinder which is very small and it only put out 116 horsepower. It came with several different manual and automatic transmissions so it should be easy to find one with a stick shift. also most Miatas are convertibles which makes cruising around on a nice afternoon even more fun. Miatas also have many aftermarket performance parts so you can easily upgrade it and customize it for pretty cheap. if you want something with power the Miata is not the right car for you, but if you want a fun reliable and cheap sports car than the Miata is perfect.

Todays topic is on the all american muscle car. The muscle car is the American performance cars, for decades american companies like ford dodge and chevy have competed in the muscle car category to see who can have the biggest numbers. who has the highest horsepower, most torque, and the most new technology features.

Starting off our list at number one is the 2011 to 2014 (S-197) ford mustang GT. The mustang started it all back in the early 60s where Ford advertised it as a family friendly weekend car. then other companies like dodge and chevy started to make more performance oriented cars, so Ford followed by making the mustang more performance oriented. the mustang GT comes with the mighty 5.0 liter coyote V8 which puts out 420 horse power and 390 pound feet of torque which is mo0re than enough to get those back tires smoking. Some mustang GT’s come with manual transmissions which make the car much more fun to drive. you can easily find a nice clean example of a 2011-2014 Ford mustang on dozens of used car websites for under 20k which is a lot of money but you will get a lot of car.

Next up we have the 2008 and up dodge challenger. If you are looking for classic car styling with modern car performance then the challenger is for you. there are many engine and drive train options for the challenger. you can get it with a massive 6.1 liter V8 with rear wheel drive and a 5 speed manual transmission you can put down all 425 horsepower to those rear wheels whenever you want to. the challenger is a very worthy contender to our list and nice examples can easily be found for well under the 20,000 budget we have for this list.

Next up we have the renowned Chevrolet Corvette, a name that has lead the american performance car segment for over 50 years. This model shown above is the C5 which was made from 1997 to 2004 making it the oldest on the list. you can get this model corvette with a 5.7 liter V8 making 345 horsepower and torque numbers that match. If you can find a 2001 and up model with the 6 speed manual you can get this corvette up to 174 miles per hour, only on the race track of course. you can easily find very nice, well kept corvettes for under the 20k mark and some will even come with a soft top convertible !

Welcome, this weeks blog will be about the top 3 pickup trucks. American companies have been dominating the pickup truck market for decades, but with new foreign models coming to market american companies will have to start doing more to set themselves apart from their foreign competitors

Starting off our list a number one is the Ford F-150. The ford f-series of trucks has been around for lightyears and they have been the best selling trucks for decades and for good reason. Ford knows how to make trucks because they have been doing it for so long. The new 2019 ford F-150 can be equipped with and features ranging from power windows on the low end XL trim all the way to massaging seats in the platinum trim level. Ford also lets you get any engine to suit your needs in the new f-150 ranging from the 2.7 litre eco boost V6 to the mighty 5.0 litre V8 It’s easy to see the f-150 is the best in the business, heck even I drive one!

Second we have the Toyota tundra. Toyota has proven itself in the pickup truck industry over the years since it first came to market in the late 1990s. Toyota is somewhat new to the full sized pickup truck lineup especially compared to its american competitors which have all been around for decades. Toyota tundras are extremely reliable, two mid 2000s models even made it past the one million mile mark on a stock engine with no major issues! One million miles is craze for any vehicle, especially a truck that gets abused more than an average car.

Lastly we have the dodge 1500 ram. Dodge crystler has recently been bought by the Itallian company fiat which makes crappy little unreliable cars. This has caused the modern dodge chrysler cars to become pretty unreliable, with the exception of their trucks. Dodge is an american company that has been making trucks for a long long time, similar to ford. Dodge v8 engines are very reliable my friends dad almost got 400,000 miles out of his 1996 ram 1500. If you are needing a new truck on a budget look no further than the dodge ram 1500.

Ah the cheap trusty commuter car. Something you need to get you from point a to point b reliably and efficiently. With boring, drab styling and performance numbers that barely match its lack of styling details. This is a car that you don’t really care about, if it gets scratched who cares, if your new teenage driver backs into a tree so what it’s cheap and it still runs good. So if you are wanting a commuter car you shouldn’t want to spend lots of money on it right? That’s why iv’e compiled a list of the top 3 best commuter cars for under $5,000

Starting off our list at number one the Toyota corolla 1993-2002. The corolla was and still is designed to be a commuter car. With its 1.6 liter inline 4 cylinder engine you won’t be out performing many other cars on the road, at least with acceleration and speed, however you will be one of the most efficient cars on the road, at leas for its day. The corolla got 27mpg city and 34mpg highway, those are both pretty impressive numbers. The transmissions are built with Toyota reliability and with a manual option you can even have a fun drive to work!

Next off a number two we have the 1993-early 2000s. Honda is one of the most reliable and proven names in the car industry today, likely because they have been building quality cars since the early 1960s. The trusty civic is surely able to get you to your destination without any issues. With its 1.7 liter inline four cylinder engine you can cruise to your destination with ease. Also with Hondas V-Tec technology the engine can run more efficiently by allowing the valves to open at different increments depending on the RPMs and how much power the car is needing. Similar to the corolla the civic also has a manual transmission option which can make your morning commute fun and engaging!  

Lastly we have the mid 90s to early 2000s Toyota Rav 4. Yes yes, this is the second Toyota on this list but for good reason. Toyota is one of the highest ranked car brands in reliability according to KBB and consumer reports, both of which have high testing standards. The rav 4 is meant for someone who needs to get to work efficiently but also have enough cargo room for any hauling that needs to be done. Using a 2.0 liter inline 4 cylinder engine the rav 4 gets 24 mpg city and 28 on the highway, not bad for a compact SUV.
